The National Career Service is a Government of India employment service with job search, career guidance and resume-building resources. If you use it alongside a resume made elsewhere, check the profile and document separately. Updating one should not be assumed to update the other.
NCS states that it does not charge for registration, job application or interview processing. Guul is a separate commercial product with its own prices. You do not need to buy a Guul download to register with NCS. Guul has no affiliation with the service.
Start with the official service and vacancy
Use the official NCS address above. Verify the role, employer, location and application method before sharing information. A logo, forwarded message or request for money does not prove that a sender represents NCS.
NCS warns about people falsely claiming an association with it. Check the site’s current verification and contact guidance if a message is inconsistent. Do not pay someone merely because they say a fee is necessary for NCS registration or application processing.
Prepare a resume for the actual opening
Start with your real education, employment, projects and skills. Select evidence relevant to the duties. A fresher can use coursework, internships or volunteering with the context clearly labelled.

Keep versions separate and recognisable
Save the resume you submit for each opening. If the role changes, review your summary and selected projects instead of only renaming the file. Keep titles, dates and qualifications fixed across versions.
A resume accepted by one portal may not meet another portal’s file limits. An NCS profile is also separate from a Naukri account. The Naukri profile guide covers that workflow.
Review what you are about to share
Open the attachment and check for sample names, empty fields and leftover company names. Remove sensitive information the application does not need. Avoid publishing other people’s contact details without permission.
