Canva resume watermark: keep your text and export a clean PDF
Canva is a design tool, not a resume builder with a four-week trial. Free designs can include premium elements that show a watermark until you license them or use Canva Pro. Save your resume content first
- Select and copy the text from your Canva resume, or export any text-based file Canva allows without premium locks.
- Take a screenshot of the layout only as a visual reference. Complex Canva layouts often need rebuilding so that applicant tracking systems (the software employers use to read resumes) can read them.
- Note which items are marked premium or watermarked, so you know what you are leaving behind.
- Avoid outside tools that offer watermark-free files and ask for your password or card details.
