Resume Builder Pricing Comparison
Resume builders are rarely priced the way they are read. A plan billed every four weeks is charged 13 times a year, not twelve; a weekly plan is charged 52 times. This page takes each builder’s own published terms and does the multiplication, so you can compare a year of one against a year of another. Our own row is calculated exactly the same way, and it does not come out cheapest on every line.
What each builder costs for a year

How a four-week plan adds up over a year
Four weeks is 28 days. A year is 365 days. 365 ÷ 28 = 13.04, so a plan billed every four weeks is charged 13 times in a year rather than twelve.
Worked through with a rate from the table above: $29.95 × 13 = $389.35 over twelve months. Read as a monthly plan, the same rate would suggest $359.40 — one charge less.
This is not a hidden fee. Every vendor billing on this cycle states the cycle. It is worth doing the multiplication yourself before you compare two numbers that look similar.
What Guul commits to
- No introductory offer that renews into a subscription — there is no trial product in our catalogue at all.
- A genuine one-time purchase exists (One Resume), charged once, with nothing to cancel afterwards.
- Exported resumes are never watermarked, on any plan, including free.
- A 30-day money-back guarantee that downloading your resume does not void.
- Guul prices come from the current product catalog. India prices apply to eligible purchases made from India; changing your browser locale does not establish eligibility. Existing subscriptions retain their billing currency. Check the final total, including any taxes or discounts, and available payment methods at checkout.
How to read this table
The rows are alphabetical, and the “cost of 12 months” column is computed from the billing period each vendor states — it is not a judgement about any of them. Several products in this table are good products; some of them are cheaper than ours over a year. A weekly plan and a four-weekly plan simply cost more per year than their headline number suggests, and that is worth seeing before you choose.
An introductory offer is listed only where the vendor publishes one. Where it is followed by a renewing plan, the renewal amount is the figure that gets annualised — the introductory amount is charged once and tells you nothing about the year ahead.
If you spot a figure that has changed, the numbers on this page carry a date for exactly that reason. Tell us and we will re-verify against the vendor’s page and re-date the row.
Leaving a renewing builder?
Yearly totals help you choose. If you already started a trial elsewhere, cancel on that vendor’s official path first — Guul cannot cancel or refund another company. Resume Rescue has step-by-step cancel guides. Importing a draft does not stop the old charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does a plan billed every 4 weeks cost more than a monthly plan of the same price?
Because a year contains thirteen four-week periods, not twelve. Four weeks is 28 days and 365 divided by 28 is 13.04, so a plan billed every four weeks is charged 13 times in a year. That is simple math about a stated billing period, not a hidden fee — the plan says "every 4 weeks" and bills every 4 weeks. It is simply easy to read as "monthly" and budget for twelve charges instead of thirteen.
How is the effective annual cost calculated?
The table estimates an annual run rate: 52 weekly periods, 13 four-week periods, 12 calendar months, 4 three-month periods or one annual charge. Fixed 30-day and 90-day offers use 365 divided by their stated number of days; they are not calendar-month plans. This is not an exact invoice schedule or first-year total. Introductory periods, payment dates, taxes and promotions can change the amount paid. One-time purchases are not annualised.
Are these competitor prices current?
Competitor amounts are the figures published on each vendor’s own pricing page as of October 2, 2026. Guul amounts come from the current product catalog. Check the final total at checkout; eligibility, taxes and discounts can affect what you pay. Vendor pages change without notice — regional pricing, promotions and currency will differ. Re-open the vendor’s page before you buy.
Need to cancel another builder before switching?
Guul has step-by-step cancel guides for Zety, Resume.io, MyPerfectResume, Resume Now, Resume Genius, LiveCareer, Enhancv, Teal+, Kickresume and more. Each one shows the date we checked it. Importing a draft into Guul does not cancel the other subscription. Resume Rescue also has guides for charges you do not recognise and for charges that continue after you cancel.
Does Guul have an introductory offer that renews into a subscription?
No. There is no trial product in our catalogue at all, so there is nothing that converts into a plan after a few days. You can import and edit for free. Paid downloads and AI tools require a one-time purchase or a plan that you choose explicitly.
Is Guul the cheapest option in this table?
Not on every line, and the table is not arranged to suggest otherwise. One Resume at $4.99 USD (₹299 for purchases made from India) is a non-renewing choice, not a claim to the lowest trial price. Pro Annual is an option over a year — but a monthly Pro subscription held for twelve months costs more than some annual plans listed above. If you need one good resume, One Resume is the honest recommendation, and it is not a subscription.
Will my resume be watermarked if I do not pay?
Guul does not add a watermark to an exported resume. PDF, Word and plain-text export still require the relevant paid access. The payment buys access to export, not removal of a watermark.
Can I get a refund after I have already downloaded my resume?
Yes. Guul publishes a 30-day money-back guarantee, and downloading your resume does not void it — there is no clause that treats using the thing you bought as forfeiting the refund. To request one, email support@guul.io from your purchase email within the 30 days; the refund goes back to your original payment method, typically within a few business days.
What is the difference between One Resume and a subscription here?
One Resume is a single $4.99 USD charge (₹299 for purchases made from India) that unlocks unlimited PDF, Word and plain-text downloads of one resume for 30 days from purchase. It does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel. A Pro subscription renews on its stated period until you cancel it, and is worth it only if you are genuinely working on several resumes.
