Building, importing and editing a resume are free, and so is the ATS checker’s score with its top findings. Downloading a finished resume as a PDF, Word or plain-text file is paid. For cover letters, writing your own, copying the text and plain-text downloads are free. Resume downloads and cover-letter PDF and Word downloads are included with One Resume, the 3- or 5-resume packs, or Pro. One-time access lasts 30 days from purchase; Pro downloads are available during your paid period. Pro also includes a separate cover-letter AI allowance. Guul checks common file-readability, section-structure, content, and job-match risks and simulates likely behavior across six named ATS families (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Taleo, and SAP SuccessFactors). It cannot guarantee how an employer's configured system will process a file.
Will recruiters know I used AI to write my resume?
Guul is designed to improve the wording and structure of experience you provide, not invent employers, responsibilities, dates, or achievements. Is my data secure?
Resume data is sensitive. Uploaded resumes and photos are used only to provide your workspace and downloads, are never sold, and are never used to train external AI models. The Privacy Policy and Data Deletion pages describe the current handling, retention, and one-step deletion options.
Which hiring systems (ATS) does Guul simulate?
Guul simulates how six widely used hiring platforms read your resume: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Taleo, and SAP SuccessFactors. Each platform handles two-column layouts, tables, headers, footers, date formats, and section headings differently; Guul shows the extracted text and which layout patterns create reading risk in each system.
Do I need a monthly subscription, or can I pay once for a single resume?
You do not need a subscription. One Resume is a one-time payment for a single resume that unlocks the full ATS report, one job-description match, one hiring-system simulation, 30 days of ongoing resume checks in the builder, and 30 days of PDF, Word, and plain-text downloads for that resume and your cover letters—with no recurring charge. Multi-resume packs (3 resumes and 5 resumes) and Pro (monthly, quarterly, or annual) are available when you want ongoing access across multiple resumes.
Will my downloaded PDF or Word file look identical to what I see in the editor?
PDF export follows the page preview. Word (.docx) is editable and uses a separate renderer; some resume templates export as a simpler single-column document. Word may change fonts, spacing and page breaks. Review each downloaded file before sending it.
How does the AI cover letter generator avoid generic filler?

Yes. Guul never asks for your LinkedIn password or account login. You can import either by pasting your public LinkedIn profile URL or by uploading the PDF exported from LinkedIn, then edit the structured sections across any of the 36 resume templates.
