Paylocity explains resume parsing as extracting candidate information into structured fields. That glossary is a general explanation, not a guarantee about a particular employer’s setup. Review your readable resume and any information the application asks you to enter.
Parsing is information extraction
Paylocity’s glossary describes collecting information such as contact details, work history, education and skills into structured data. This does not establish exact field coverage, accuracy or screening behavior for every Paylocity customer.
Use a document with readable text
A text-based document makes it easier to inspect what you are submitting. Image-only resumes may need optical character recognition before their text can be extracted, so follow the application’s supported formats. Do not assume every image is unreadable to every system.
Separate the resume check from hiring
The employer is responsible for its selection process, which may include configured tools and human review. A parsing result alone does not show how an application will be screened. Guul has no Paylocity-specific modeled family.
