How to cancel your LiveCareer subscription

LiveCareer’s FAQ and Pricing pages describe two ways to cancel: online, or by contacting customer service. The FAQ says to sign in, open Settings from your profile, then Subscription, where the phone number and email are listed. The Pricing page says you can cancel any time online, by email (customerservice@livecareer.com), or on the toll-free line 800-652-8430 (US and Canada; hours are on the Contact page). LiveCareer’s Terms describe an online cancel page in account settings and a confirmation email with a cancellation number. Guul cannot cancel or refund LiveCareer for you. Save your files first, then import them if you want a one-time Guul download.

Save your files first

Before you touch billing, preserve what you already wrote. Moving a draft does not cancel the old subscription.

  1. Download any resume files LiveCareer still lets you export while you have access.
  2. Copy your resume text into a document on your device as a backup.
  3. Screenshot the layout you care about.
  4. Keep receipt emails and the rough charge date. LiveCareer’s Pricing page describes a short trial that becomes a four-week subscription, so check the dates on your receipts.

How to cancel a LiveCareer subscription

These steps come from LiveCareer’s own pages. Guul cannot cancel for you.

    Log in to the LiveCareer account that was charged.

    Open Settings, then Subscription

    LiveCareer’s FAQ says to hover over your profile name, open Settings, then select Subscription. Look for a cancel option or the contact details shown there. LiveCareer’s Terms also mention an online cancel page in account settings. Menu names can change, so go by what your account shows.

    Contact customer service if needed

    LiveCareer’s Pricing and FAQ pages list the email customerservice@livecareer.com, the US and Canada phone line 800-652-8430, and live chat on the Contact Us page. Ask them to turn off auto-renewal and email you a confirmation with a cancellation number.

    Look for the confirmation email

    LiveCareer’s Terms say they send an email with a cancellation number. If it doesn’t arrive and you still want to cancel, contact customer service again.

    Import to Guul only after you have your own copy

    Moving a draft into Guul does not cancel LiveCareer. Confirm with LiveCareer that renewals are off before you rely on Guul alone.

Refunds

LiveCareer’s FAQ says they cannot guarantee a refund in every case. Their Terms let you ask for a refund if you cancel before the end of an initial offer period, and the Pricing page mentions a money-back guarantee within a short trial window. Check both pages before you rely on this. Canceling is not an automatic refund. Guul does not process LiveCareer refunds.

Importing a draft into Guul does not cancel LiveCareer. Keep the email with your cancellation number, and if you need written proof, ask LiveCareer support to confirm the end date.
