How to cancel your Resume Genius subscription

Resume Genius lists the cancel steps in its FAQ: open My Account, then My Subscription, then Cancel Subscription. Under their terms, canceling stops renewals at the end of the current period. It does not move your draft or guarantee a refund. Save any free TXT or other export you are allowed first. Then, if you want a one-time download, import it into Guul.

Save your files first

Before you touch billing, preserve what you already wrote. Moving a draft does not cancel the old subscription.

  2. If you used the builder, save the TXT, or any document export you already unlocked.
  3. Screenshot the layout you care about.
  4. Keep the receipt email and the rough charge date.

How to cancel a Resume Genius subscription

These steps come from Resume Genius’s own pages. Guul cannot cancel for you.

    Log in to Resume Genius

    Log in to your Resume Genius account.

    Open My Account

    Select the profile icon in the upper-left corner, then click “My Account” to open your account settings. These are the names Resume Genius’s FAQ uses.

    Open My Subscription

    Select “My Subscription” at the top of the window.

    Cancel Subscription

    Click “Cancel Subscription” and follow the instructions your account shows.

    Contact support if needed

    If you can’t find these options, or you need written confirmation, call (866) 215-9048, email support@resumegenius.com, or use the live chat on Resume Genius’s Contact page. Ask them to confirm that auto-renewal is off, and the date it takes effect.

Refunds

Resume Genius’s Terms say a cancel takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and remaining time is generally not refunded. They describe a fuller refund if you are still within a stated initial window (often 14 days) and contact support before it ends. Check the current Terms before you rely on this. Canceling is not an automatic refund. Guul does not process Resume Genius refunds.

Importing a draft into Guul does not cancel Resume Genius. If you need written proof that auto-renewal is off, ask Resume Genius to confirm the end date.
