How to cancel your ResumeHelp subscription (2026)

Canceling ResumeHelp stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund past charges or move your resume. ResumeHelp’s Contact page says to cancel through its “Send us a message by email” form: sign in, choose Cancel under “Select a message,” then choose Cancel subscription. Save a usable copy of your resume before you change billing. Then, if you want a one-time download instead of another renewing plan, import that text into Guul.

Save your files first

Before you touch billing, preserve what you already wrote. Moving a draft does not cancel the old subscription.

  1. Download your resume while you still have paid access. ResumeHelp’s Contact page says downloads are under My Documents, then Resumes, and offers PDF, text file, or HTML.
  2. Screenshot the layout you care about. Formatting rarely survives a move.
  3. Keep the receipt: the email, the charge date, and how the charge appears. ResumeHelp’s Contact page lists ResumeHelp.com, ITB*ResumeHelp, RBK*ResumeHelp.com, and PayPal *RESUMEHELP.
  4. Deleting the account is not the same as canceling billing. Save your files and the confirmation first.

How to cancel a ResumeHelp subscription

These steps come from ResumeHelp’s own pages. Guul cannot cancel for you.

  1. 1

    Sign in to ResumeHelp

Sign in at resumehelp.com with the account that was charged. ResumeHelp’s cancel steps start with signing in.

  2. 2

Open the message form on the Contact page

Go to ResumeHelp’s Contact page and find the section called “Send us a message by email.” That is where ResumeHelp’s own cancel steps point.

  3. 3

    Choose Cancel, then Cancel subscription

Under “Select a message,” click Cancel, then Cancel subscription. ResumeHelp says it may offer a chat with a live agent first. If you still want to cancel, enter your email and click Cancel subscription.

  4. 4

    Save the confirmation

ResumeHelp’s User Agreement says you will get an email confirming the cancellation. If it does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there either, contact ResumeHelp to confirm, as its Contact page suggests.

  5. 5

Contact support if the form does not work

ResumeHelp’s Contact page offers live chat and the message form, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM CST. Its User Agreement lists support@hiringproducts.com and 844-484-1207 (United States) for questions. Ask for written confirmation that auto-renewal is off.

Page names and support hours change. Verify the current steps in the “How do I cancel?” answer on ResumeHelp’s Contact page. If your account shows something different, trust your live account over any guide, including ours.

Refunds

ResumeHelp’s User Agreement says it does not guarantee refunds. It also says you owe fees through the end of the subscription period until you cancel. Canceling stops future charges but does not reverse an earlier one. Only ResumeHelp can decide on a refund. Guul does not process ResumeHelp refunds.

Importing a draft into Guul does not cancel ResumeHelp. ResumeHelp’s User Agreement says your documents stay stored after a subscription ends, but printing, editing and downloading need an active subscription. Save copies on your own device first.

Already have the draft? Import free

Importing into Guul does not cancel ResumeHelp. Keep vendor confirmation separately.

  1. Open Guul Resume Rescue. Paste your resume text, or upload a PDF or Word file you are allowed to keep.
  2. Check names, employers, dates, and bullets. The layout may change after import.
  3. When you need a PDF or Word file, buy One Resume ($4.99 USD, one time). It gives unlimited PDF and Word downloads of that one resume for 30 days from purchase, with no renewal. Files are never watermarked.
