Lead with your degree, placement evidence and relevant projects
When applying for graduate schemes or entry-level roles in the UK, place your university education near the top of page one. State your degree title, institution, expected or awarded classification (for example, predicted 2:1 or First-Class Honours) and graduation date clearly. Name only the modules or dissertation topic that directly relate to the vacancy.
Separate paid roles, industrial placements, society leadership and academic group projects honestly. Explain your own contribution to a dissertation or laboratory project rather than presenting university coursework as commercial employment.
