How to cancel your MakeMyCV subscription (2026)

Canceling MakeMyCV stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund past charges or move your resume. MakeMyCV’s Terms say you can end your subscription from your account: open “Settings,” then choose “Terminate subscription.” MakeMyCV also has a Cancel subscription page linked from its website. Save a usable copy of your resume before you change billing. Then, if you want a one-time download instead of another renewing plan, import that text into Guul.

Save your files first

Before you touch billing, preserve what you already wrote. Moving a draft does not cancel the old subscription.

  1. Download PDF or Word files while you still have paid access. MakeMyCV’s Pricing page lists both formats.
  2. Copy your resume text into a document on your device.
  3. Screenshot the layout you care about. Formatting rarely survives a move.
  4. Keep your order confirmation and welcome emails. MakeMyCV’s Cancel subscription page says the welcome email shows which address you used.

How to cancel a MakeMyCV subscription

These steps come from MakeMyCV’s own pages. Guul cannot cancel for you.

    Sign in to MakeMyCV

    Sign in with the email on your account. MakeMyCV’s Terms say it sends a sign-in link to that email.

    Open Settings

    Open “Settings” in your account. That is the name MakeMyCV’s Terms use.

    Choose Terminate subscription

    Click “Terminate subscription” and follow any confirmation screens. MakeMyCV’s Terms say that on a monthly plan you keep access until the end of the current period.

    Or use the Cancel subscription page

    MakeMyCV’s Cancel subscription page works from the email on your account. If you don’t remember it, the page says to look for MakeMyCV’s welcome email.

    Contact MakeMyCV if you can’t cancel

    MakeMyCV’s Contact page lists support@makemycv.com and chat, both with replies within 24 hours. Ask for written confirmation that renewal is off.

Prices and billing periods change. Verify the current renewal terms on MakeMyCV’s Pricing page and the cancel steps in its Terms. If your account shows something different, trust your live account over any guide, including ours.

Refunds

MakeMyCV’s Terms say that during a trial period you can cancel and get back the price you paid for the trial. They also say you give up the 14-day withdrawal right once the service starts, so no refund is accepted for a period already started. Canceling does not reverse an earlier charge. Guul does not process MakeMyCV refunds.

Importing a draft into Guul does not cancel MakeMyCV. MakeMyCV’s Terms say that ending the contract ends access to the service, and deleting the account deletes your documents. Save copies on your own device first.
