How to cancel your Zety subscription (2026)
Canceling Zety stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund past charges or move your resume. Zety’s Contact page says you can cancel from the My Plan section of your account dashboard, or by calling or chatting with support. Save a usable copy of your resume before you change billing. Then, if you want a one-time download instead of another renewing plan, import that text into Guul.
Save your files first
Before you touch billing, preserve what you already wrote. Moving a draft does not cancel the old subscription.
- Save your text. Use whatever export your plan offers: a plain-text (TXT) download works, and so does copying the text into a document. If a formatted PDF or Word file is available in your paid period, download it now.
- Screenshot the layout you care about. Formatting rarely survives a move.
- Keep the receipt: the email, the last four digits of the card, and the rough charge date. Support may ask for them.
- Deleting the account is not the same as canceling billing. Save your files and the confirmation first.
How to cancel a Zety subscription
These steps come from Zety’s own pages. Guul cannot cancel for you.

Open My Plan
Open your account dashboard and go to the My Plan section. That is the name Zety’s Contact page uses.

Finish canceling
Choose the option to cancel or end your subscription, and complete each confirmation screen your account shows.

Save the confirmation
Wait for Zety’s confirmation email. Save it, along with any cancellation number.

Contact support if My Plan is missing
If you cannot find My Plan, the option does not work, or your renewal date is close, use live chat, call 800-985-7561, or email the address on zety.com/contact. Ask for written confirmation that auto-renewal is off, and the date it takes effect.

Refunds
Zety’s FAQ says you can cancel anytime and covers refunds separately. It describes a full refund if you ask by email within the first 7 days, with later refunds more limited (for example, if you downloaded files). That is Zety’s own stated practice, and only Zety can apply it. Read Zety’s current Terms and FAQ before you count on a refund. Canceling does not reverse an earlier charge. Guul does not process Zety refunds.
After you cancel, paid download features may stop when the paid period ends, even if you can still sign in. Confirm the end date with Zety. That is why copies saved on your own device matter more than seeing the resume in Zety’s editor.
