Quality starts with hierarchy and restraint
Open the resume at its normal reading size. Can someone distinguish the job title, employer, dates and evidence without searching around the page? Consistent spacing and readable type matter more than decorative badges. A sophisticated layout should make the strongest material easier to find.
Try your longest company name and a project with several lines of description. Inspect whether the design still feels deliberate once it holds your real content. Do not judge a template solely from a carefully shortened example.
Authentic writing preserves what actually happened
