How to cancel your CVMaker subscription (2026)

Canceling CVMaker stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund past charges or move your resume. CVMaker’s Contact page lists three ways to cancel: in your account under “My account,” on its Cancel subscription page, or through its helpdesk. Save a usable copy of your resume before you change billing. Then, if you want a one-time download instead of another renewing plan, import that text into Guul.

Save your files first

Before you touch billing, preserve what you already wrote. Moving a draft does not cancel the old subscription.

  1. Download your latest PDF while you still have paid access. CVMaker’s Contact page says its resumes cannot be downloaded in Word, so also copy the text into a document.
  2. Screenshot the layout you care about. Formatting rarely survives a move.
  3. Keep your welcome email from CVMaker. Its Cancel subscription page says that email shows which address you signed up with.
  4. Deleting the account is not the same as canceling billing. Save your files and the confirmation first.

How to cancel a CVMaker subscription

These steps come from CVMaker’s own pages. Guul cannot cancel for you.

    Sign in and open My account

    Sign in to CVMaker and open “My account.” That is the name CVMaker’s Contact page uses.

    Switch the subscription slider and confirm

    CVMaker’s Contact page says to scroll to the bottom, move the subscription slider to “Yes,” and press “Cancel account.” CVMaker says a confirmation email follows.

    Or use the Cancel subscription page

    On CVMaker’s Cancel subscription page, enter the email you used to create your resume. CVMaker says you do not need to sign in for this.

    Cancel at least 3 days before renewal

    CVMaker’s Terms say changes and cancellations must be made at least three days before the next payment to avoid that payment.

    Save the confirmation, or contact the helpdesk

    Keep CVMaker’s confirmation email. If it does not arrive, use the contact form on CVMaker’s Contact page, which says replies usually come within a day.

Refunds

CVMaker’s Terms say all sales are final and there are no refunds, in whole or in part. Canceling stops future charges but does not reverse an earlier one. Guul does not process CVMaker refunds.
