How to cancel your Resume.io subscription
Resume.io has its own cancel page: enter the email you registered with and confirm. Canceling stops future renewals. It does not move your draft or guarantee a refund. Save any free TXT or PDF you are allowed first. Then, if you want a clean download without another auto-renewing trial, import it into Guul.
Save your files first
Before you touch billing, preserve what you already wrote. Moving a draft does not cancel the old subscription.
- Resume.io offers a free TXT export.
- Resume.io’s help pages describe a free PDF with the Vancouver template (as of September 8–12, 2026). Check your account to confirm it is still offered.
- Copy your text, keep those exports on your device, or both, before you change billing.
- Keep the receipt email and the rough charge date.
How to cancel a Resume.io subscription

https://resume.io/contact/cancel-subscription - 2
Enter your registration email
Enter the email address you used when you registered.
- 3
Click Cancel Subscription
Click the Cancel Subscription button on that page and complete any confirmation shown.
- 4
If you forgot the email
Search your inbox for a welcome message from resume.io. The same page also says you can contact Resume.io support for help.
- 5
Save the confirmation
Keep any confirmation email or screenshot.
Resume.io could add a sign-in step to canceling later. If it does, verify and follow the live instructions on Resume.io’s cancel page. Guul only links to that page and cannot cancel for you.
Refunds
Resume.io’s cancel page covers canceling, not refunds. Whether you can get a refund depends on Resume.io’s terms and when you paid. Ask Resume.io for a refund separately from canceling. Canceling is not a refund. Guul does not process Resume.io refunds.
Importing a draft into Guul does not cancel Resume.io. If you need written proof that auto-renewal is off, ask Resume.io to confirm the end date.
Already have the draft? Import free
