Move Your LiveCareer Resume: A Practical Guide

Keep your original work, choose a permitted export and check the rebuilt resume before buying another download.

Published by Guul

Changing builders should give you a useful document without losing work you already own. This guide covers moving content from LiveCareer into another editing workflow, including Guul. It does not cancel an account, bypass a paid export or promise to reproduce the original design exactly.

Start here

  • Read the current account instructions for cancelling your purchase channel. Keep the confirmation; Guul cannot cancel or refund a LiveCareer purchase.
  • Keep the original and review the new file before replacing your submission copy.

Preserve your work first

Preserve your own text or an export before changing services. Import that material into Guul and verify missing sections and page breaks. Contact LiveCareer through its own account or support flow for billing questions.

Save files before changing access

LiveCareer’s pricing page describes a free TXT resume export and paid formatted access. Save whatever your current account permits, and open the file to confirm it contains the latest version. Keep any existing formatted document as a layout reference.

If the account’s download controls are unclear, use LiveCareer’s official help rather than paying again just to test them. The receipt and subscription settings belong to that service; Guul cannot cancel or inspect the purchase.

Check the imported contact and chronology

Review contact information first, followed by employers, role titles and dates. Compare any prewritten suggestions with the work you actually did. Do not allow migration to turn an old generic phrase into a stronger unsupported achievement.

Save the rebuilt draft and inspect the export before deleting the original. If you need Word for future editing, verify that the selected Guul template and purchase support that output. A new account does not automatically migrate a previous subscription or its remaining term.

Review the purchase separately from the document

A short introductory price and an ongoing plan solve different needs. Read the renewal amount and interval before comparing with Guul’s one-resume purchase.

Read the current account instructions for cancelling your purchase channel. Keep the confirmation; Guul cannot cancel or refund a LiveCareer purchase.

Inventory the whole application bundle

A resume may be only one part of the material you created in LiveCareer. List cover letters and alternative versions separately so that moving the main resume does not leave useful work behind. Open each saved document and label it with the role it was meant for, rather than relying on a generic filename.

After rebuilding, compare the resume and cover letter for consistent employer names, dates and contact details. An updated phone number in one file does not update another. Keep the bundle together for submission. Guul resume import does not claim to migrate a LiveCareer workspace, its billing account or every document type.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to move away from LiveCareer?

LiveCareer may suit someone who likes a guided writing process and intends to use it through a longer job search. A TXT export can be sufficient for moving the text elsewhere.

What should I save before moving?

Preserve your own text or an export before changing services. Import that material into Guul and verify missing sections and page breaks. Contact LiveCareer through its own account or support flow for billing questions.

Does importing cancel the previous purchase?

No. Manage billing with LiveCareer through its official account or support. A document import does not transfer, cancel or refund that purchase.
