Guul vs Enhancv: visual two-column layouts or explainable ATS previews?
Enhancv focuses on visual two-column layouts and a seven-day trial that includes branding and section-item limits. Guul offers single-column and multi-column designs, explainable Workday, Greenhouse and Lever parsing previews, and One Resume ($4.99 USD one time for 30 days).
Overview
Enhancv provides a visual resume builder and content feedback. At our October 2, 2026 review, Enhancv published a seven-day free trial with branding and section-item limits, while paid plan numbers did not render reliably on the reviewed page and are not quoted here. Guul lets you import or edit a draft free, inspect how named applicant tracking system simulations read your fields, and unlock unwatermarked PDF, Word and plain-text downloads with One Resume ($4.99 USD one time for 30 days, no auto-renewal).
What Enhancv offers
Enhancv provides a visual resume builder and resume feedback. Its published free trial lasts seven days and includes branding and section-item limits. Paid price values did not render reliably in the reviewed page, so this comparison does not quote them.
What Guul offers
Import and edit free. PDF, Word and plain-text downloads require One Resume or a qualifying plan. Check the local price and scope before purchasing.
Deeper comparison
More detail for readers who care about applicant tracking systems. It is based on each company’s published pages. We did not test every feature of the other product.
Visual two-column resumes versus linear ATS reading order
Enhancv is known for expressive two-column templates, custom graphical sections and color accents. Those layouts can work well when you hand a PDF directly to a hiring manager. When an application goes through an applicant tracking system, however, sidebars and custom widgets can change the order in which text is extracted. Guul offers both single-column and multi-column designs and pairs them with a field-by-field preview from its Workday, Greenhouse and Lever simulations. You can see whether dates, titles and employers stay attached to the right roles before you download.
Seven-day branded trial versus one-time unwatermarked download
Enhancv’s published seven-day trial lets you try its editor, but trial exports include Enhancv branding and section-item limits. If you need a clean submission file for a single job search without starting a recurring subscription, Guul’s One Resume costs $4.99 USD once and unlocks unlimited PDF, Word and plain-text downloads of that one resume for 30 days from purchase.

When Enhancv may fit better
Consider Enhancv if you prefer visual layout control and its feedback workflow. Test the layout you plan to submit and inspect the exported file.
How to keep and move your draft
Save your own content and an available export. Import the text or PDF into Guul and check reading order, headings and page breaks. A new builder will not necessarily reproduce the original visual layout.
Paste your own resume text into Guul. Review the imported document before buying downloads.
Before you buy or cancel
Verify the current paid price in checkout and any branding on your export. Use the employer’s requested format when submitting.

Need to cancel Enhancv first?
Official cancel steps with dated sources. Importing into Guul does not stop the old subscription.
Cancel control missing? Email / phone / ticket playbook. Charged after you canceled? Still-charging checklist.
Already started drafting in Enhancv?
Bring your own text into Guul and review the result. Importing is free; PDF, Word and plain-text downloads require a one-time purchase or a Pro plan.
Before you decide
- Verify the current paid price in checkout and any branding on your export. Use the employer’s requested format when submitting.
- List the document formats you need before comparing plans. An editable Word file, a finished PDF and a builder’s internal project data are different outputs.
- Save the exact resume you submit and the job description it targets. Keep a separate editable copy so your next application does not depend on continued access to one account.
- Try the editing controls with your own material, inspect a permitted export and check the full checkout commitment. Do not buy a second product just to resolve a billing question with the first.
