Choose a Resume Builder for Applications in India

An employer, institution or placement office may provide its own template or instructions. Read those before paying for a design you cannot use. If a fixed form is required, complete that form separately; a resume builder is not a substitute for its required fields or attachments.

**US-style resume vs common India application formats (plain differences, not rules):** • Many US private-sector applications expect a concise resume (often 1–2 pages) without photo, date of birth, marital status, religion, or parents’ names — unless a rare employer asks. • Campus placement and some India private/government flows may still request a longer biodata-style CV, a photograph, or prescribed fields. Follow the recipient’s instructions over any generic template. • Academic or research tracks may need a CV with publications — that is a different document from a job resume.

For an early-career application, explain the problem, your own contribution and the result of genuine coursework, internships or projects. Label the context accurately. A team project does not mean you personally designed every part, and a course certificate is not the same as paid professional experience.

Check qualification names, institution names and dates carefully. If the application asks for scores or grades, use the correct scale and the requested field. Do not let AI convert a credential into an unsupported equivalency.

If connectivity is unreliable, prepare an editable local source and test offline export in a suitable document editor. Do not assume a web builder will work without a connection just because its first screen is cached.
